America 250 Flag Raising
Join a brief flag-raising ceremony as we hoist the DAR America 250 flag and launch local celebrations of America's 2026 semiquincentennial (250th anniversary). We'll have a brief ceremony and local trumpet player David Bruce Adams will perform "To the Colors."

The United States will mark its "semiquincentennial"--its 250th anniversary-on the July 4, 2026 anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. The semiquincentennial will be celebrated with multiple events nationwide, over a couple of years. July 3rd, we'll launch our celebrations with a brief ceremony and local trumpet player @David Bruce Adams performing "To the Colors" as we hoist the DAR America 250 Flag.
